From a young age, Georges was involved in the scout movement, later became later a trainer of youth leaders and finally chairperson of the organization. He studied mathematics and was a math teacher in secondary schools from 1988 until 2003.
He has been the direction of the National Youth Service in Luxembourg since 2023. Since 2003, he is director of the National Youth Service.
As such, he represented Luxembourg until 2018 in the Steering Committee for Youth of the Council of Europe until 2018 and got involved in the “Quality label for youth centres” ‘Quality Label for Youth Centres’, which he helped to develop.
