The team

The Youth Policies Division's main responsibilities are the statutory committees of the co-managed system, youth policy development (including through governmental co-operation and support for States Parties), and the Partnership between the European Commission and the Council of Europe in the field of youth.

Florian Cescon
Head of Division, Secretary to the CDEJ and CMJ
Florian is responsible for the overall management of the Youth Policies Division and also secretary to the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ) and to the Joint Council on Youth (CMJ)

Co-Secretary to the CDEJ, Secretary to the Partial agreement and Head of the Publications Unit
Natalja is Co-Secretary to the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ), Secretary to the Partial agreement on Youth mobility through the Youth Card and Head of the Publications Unit.

Secretary to the CCJ and Co-Secretary to the CMJ
Joanne is secretary to the Advisory Council on Youth (CCJ) and Co-Secretary to the Joint Council on Youth (CCJ).

Sylvie Fritsch
Assistant to the CCJ, personal assistant to the Head of the Youth Department
Sylvie is personal assistant to Antje Rothemund, Head of the Youth Department. She also works with Joanne for the Advisory Council on Youth and is responsible for logistical and practical issues.

Assistant to the CDEJ, the CMJ and the Partial agreement
Giovanna works with both Florian and Natalja for the Joint Council on Youth, the European Steering Committee for Youth and the Partial agreement on Youth mobility though the Youth Card. She is responsible for logistical and practical issues.
