The ‘Quality Label for Youth Centres – Role, Value and Impact of Youth Centres’ is a new Youth Department brochure that describes the benefit of youth centres awarded with the Council of Europe’s Quality Label for Youth Centres and how they contribute to quality youth work and the youth sector at large.
It describes the importance of youth centres in practicing and supporting youth work and highlights the most important characteristics of the centres and how these are aligned with the quality standards and values of the Council of Europe.
The brochure explains how youth centres contribute to youth work mostly by providing ‘safe spaces’ for young people, by their presence as educational establishments, and by being multipliers in youth work and focal points for networking.
