On Wednesday 3 April Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, the capital of the republic of Tatarstan, Russia, visited the European Youth Centre.  

He was thanked for his continued support of Council of Europe international youth activities and for the hospitality towards participants of the Youth Department’s training-seminars that have been held in Kazan in cooperation with Russian partners.

Later in the day Mr Metshin spoke at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities session about access of young people to social rights and showed his support for the Youth Department’s ENTER! Project.
