COMPASS National Training Course on Human Rights Education in Italy

COMPASS National Training Course on Human Rights Education in Italy takes place from 24 to 28 June 2019 in Turin.

The training course, “HREload” is an advanced-level national training course in the field of Human Rights Education (HRE), promoted by a multi-stakeholder cooperation network of national partners, led by APICE - Agenzia di Promozione Integrata per i Cittadini in Europa and supported by the Youth Depatment of the Council of Europe, co-funded by Global Campaign for Education and realized in cooperation with the City of Turin.

All the partner organizations of HREload National Training Course, GIOSEF ITALY, CIFA, CGE, REDU, with the expert contributions from Amnesty International Italy, HREYN - Human Rights Youth Expert Network and the No Hate Speech Movement Italy, agreed on the common need of an innovative approach to Human Rights Education, highlighting the impact leading to a real and measurable change in society, starting from youth: that’s why we want to symbolically reload Human Rights Education, based on “evaluation for change”approach.

The main focus of HREload is the equipment of all those who play an educational role in society with strategic competencies while planning HRE initiatives, based on the “evaluation for change” approach that underlines the importance to plan any initiative based on the change we aim to reach, to monitor and evaluate each step accordingly.
