The North-South Centre of the Council of Europe is organising a cycle of regional seminars to assess the recognition and implementation of global development education in the Balkan (Zagreb, October 2018), Baltic (Riga, 9 April 2018), Visegrad (Warsaw, 22 May 2018) as well as South-East Europe and Mediterranean countries (Ljubljana, 6 November 2018 (tbc)). Those events take place in the framework of the Joint Programme between the European Union (EU) and the Council of Europe to promote Global Development Education. Local and regional politicians are invited to express their interest in participating in those seminars by contacting the Secretariat of the North-South Centre ([email protected]).
