The Steering Committee of the project Support to Consolidating Local Democracy in Armenia met on 5 February 2014 in Yerevan. This project, funded by the Government of Denmark, is part in the Council of Europe Action Plan for Armenia 2012-2014 The meeting was co-chaired by Vache Terteryan, First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration, and Oleksandr Pavlyuk, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Yerevan. The Congress was represented by Knud Andersen (Denmark, ILDG) and attended by representatives of the National Assembly, the President of the Communities Association of Armenia, the Chairman of the Communities Finance Officers and the Vice-President of the Association of Municipal Councillors of Armenia. The Steering Committee assessed the project plan and provided strategic guidance for its implementation.
