On 10-12 November, the Quality Label’s team of experts visited Marienthal Youth Centre, Luxembourg to evaluate the fulfilment of the 15 quality criteria of the Quality Label for Youth Centre’s programme. This was the third visit for the youth centre, which has held the label since 2018.
The most recent visit provided an opportunity for the expert team to meet with the youth centre’s leadership, educational staff, as well as key stakeholders in the Luxembourg youth sector.
On the first day of the evaluation, the experts were presented with recent changes to the educational offer of Marienthal Youth Centre, and they also had an opportunity to take part in two new educational activities on site. Following a discussion on the mission and values at the heart of the youth centre, the visitors also discussed youth politics and youth sector developments in Luxembourg with the Director of SNJ, the national youth service of Luxembourg.
On day two of the visit, the experts were given a guided tour around the youth centre and discussed the planned infrastructural changes and sustainability management of the facilities.
Following the visit, the Quality Label expert team will make a recommendation to the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ) on 17 November 2025 regarding the renewal of the Quality Label of the Marienthal Youth Centre.
