Gordana has been Head of the European Youth Foundation since 2022. Previously, she was the Executive Director of the European Youth Centre in Budapest between 2017-2022 and also worked for the Children's Rights Division of the Council of Europe, the Advisory Council on Youth and the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe with global education and global youth work. 
After being one of the coordinators of the Quality Label for Youth Centres programme, she took on the role of special advisor taking part in planning and other activities of the programme.
