On 27-30 May, a delegation of youth workers and managers from Quality Label youth centres gathered in Malta to join the 4th European Youth Work Convention (EYWC).
Organised under the Maltese Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, the European Youth Work Convention aims to strengthen youth work development and identify ways to further support the role of youth work in rejuvenating democracy.
The Convention is a unique and global gathering with over 500 participants, including 11 representatives from 9 labelled centres in Belgium (De Hoge Rielen and Destelheide-Hanenbos), Portugal (Braga Youth Centre and Lisbon Youth Centre), Serbia (Ecocenter Radolovacki), Slovenia (Brezice Youth Centre), Germany (Wannsee Forum), Romania (FITT) and Finland (Marttinen Youth Centre).
The 15 labelled youth centres of the Quality Label network are key actors in defining the roadmap toward a European strategy for youth work policy implementation, recognition and quality practice.
