The President of the Congress, Anders Knape has sent a letter to Goran Pauk, Head of the National Delegation of Croatia to the Congress, following the earthquake that struck Croatia on 29 December 2020.

“I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the families of the victims and all those impacted by the earthquake which struck central Croatia on 29 December 2020.

Be ensured that the Congress and myself stand by the population of your country during these difficult times.

Please extent our solidarity to the local authorities of the hard-hit areas including in particular those of Petrinja, Sisak and Glina.”
