The members of the Congress Bureau will meet in Brno (Czech Republic) on 16 June 2017 in the framework of the Czech Republic’s Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers. The meeting will be preceded by an exchange of views with representatives of Czech local and regional authorities.Bureau members will discuss in particular the situation in Turkey, Georgia and Ukraine, as well as requests for partnership with the Congress. Other matters on the agenda include the South-Med Partnership, relations between the Council of Europe and the European Union, and the organisation of both Congress sessions in 2018. On the eve of the meeting a seminar on Integration Policies at Local and Regional Level will be held in Brno with the participation, as speakers, of Anders Knape, President of the Chamber of Local Authorities, Gunn Marit Helgesen, President of the Chamber of Regions and Gabrielle Neff, Chair of the Current Affairs Committee.
