Congress President to focus on the role of young people in the religious dimension of intercultural dialogue

Congress President Keith Whitmore is participating in a Council of Europe Exchange of Views on the religious dimension of intercultural dialogue, taking place from 2 to 6 September in Durres (Albania). Organised as part of the Albanian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers, the Exchange’s main theme centres on “Taking responsibility for tomorrow’s Europe: the role of young people in the religious dimension of intercultural dialogue”. This is of particular interest to the Congress because it brings together two major components of its work – that of intercultural dialogue and of engaging young people in democracy.

Le Président du Congrès, Keith Whitmore, participe à la rencontre du Conseil de l’Europe sur la dimension religieuse du dialogue interculturel qui se tient du 2 au 6 septembre à Durres (Albanie). Organisée dans le cadre de la présidence albanaise du Comité des Ministres, cette rencontre a pour thème principal : « Assumer la responsabilité de l’Europe de demain : le rôle des jeunes dans la dimension religieuse du dialogue interculturel ». Ce thème est particulièrement intéressant pour le Congrès, car il recouvre deux aspects essentiels de ses travaux, à savoir le dialogue interculturel et la participation des jeunes à la démocratie.
