Congress to observe second round of elections in the Province of Vojvodina, Serbia

The Congress will observe the second round of the provincial elections in Vojvodina (Republic of Serbia), which will be held on 25 May. Following the first round of elections at local and provincial level, Congress observers stated elections were in line with international standards, though they concluded that the Law on Local Elections should be improved, to be in line with the European Charter for Local Self-Government.

Le Congrès observera le deuxième tour des élections pour l’assemblée dans la province de Voïvodine (République serbe) qui se tiendra le 25 mai. Suite au premier tour des élections locales et provinciales les observateurs du Congrès avaient declaré les élections conformes aux normes internationales bien que, selon leurs conclusions, la loi sur les élections locales devrait être améliorée et alignée sur la Charte européenne de l’autonomie locale.
