CLEP-Moldova Project presents findings of an IT study for anti-corruption institutions

The CLEP project presented the findings of a study on the current situation and the needs of anti-corruption institutions of the Republic of Moldova in the field of Information Technology (IT). The study covers issues of hardware needs, databases and interoperability between online systems for exchange of data and information. The CoE expert also presented recommendations for general improvements, for example concerning standardization of equipment and maintenance of records of IT assets. Twenty-one (18 men and 3 women) participants took part in the event, representing General Prosecutor’s Office, Specialized Prosecution Offices, National Anti-Corruption Centre (including the Asset Recovery Office), National Integrity Authority, National Probation Inspectorate, Ministry of Internal Affairs (Internal Protection and Anti-Corruption Service and IT Section) and Financial Intelligence Unit.
