Back Assistance provided to Kyrgyz authorities in developing the anti-corruption communication strategy

The Strengthen Prevention and Combating Corruption Project organised a needs identification mission on 13-14 March 2018 to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to consult Project partners and other stakeholders on the current practices, challenges, needs and aspirations in respect of anti-corruption communication efforts of the country.

The consultants’ team met with the Secretary of Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Mr. Damir Sagynbaev and relevant officials of the Security Council, Prime-Minister’s Office, General Prosecutor Office, State Personnel Service, Ministry of Justice, as well Internews and Transparency International in the Kyrgyz Republic. All interlocutors appreciated the timely and forward looking support provided by the Project in this field.

As a result of the exchange of views, the Project will prepare recommendations for authorities in charge of anti-corruption communication efforts and present them for consultations and follow-up.
