The PECK II Project supported a working group meeting on the draft Law on Protection of Whistleblowers which took place on 2 and 3 May 2018 in Pristina, Kosovo*.
The meeting gathered members of the Working Group mandated to draft the Law on Protection of Whistleblowers including Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Public Administration, Basic Prosecution Office and Basic Court of Pristina, Police, Office of President, Office of Prime Minister, Ministry of EU Integration, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Local Government Administration, Tax Administration, Customs, Ombudsperson, National Agency for Personal Data Protection, Public Procurement Regulatory Commission, FOL Movement, Democratic Institute, NGO COHU and Balkan Investigative Network.
The overall objective was to support the Working Group in discussing remaining important issues of the draft Law on Protection of Whistleblowers and providing recommendations for further improvement including the drafting of new concrete provisions.
