Back Training of Trainers on ethics and conflict of interest rules for Kyrgyz authorities

The Project to Strengthen Prevention and Combating Corruption in Kyrgyzstan organised a three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) on ethics and conflict of interest rules for a group of law enforcement officers on 21-23 May in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The objective of the ToT was to strengthen the capacity and skills of the General Prosecutor Office and State Service on Fighting Economic Crimes to address the training needs in the dissemination of ethics rules and standards of professional conduct.

The ToT participants acquired and improved their knowledge on corruption risks identification; typologies, identification and management of conflicts of interest; as well as the design, content and delivery of ethics training programmes for law enforcement agencies. The participants appreciated the interactive methods of the training, the use of case studies as well as the opportunity to deliver mock training sessions to practice the newly acquired skills.
