The SPCC-KY Project organised a needs identification mission on 12-13 June 2018 to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to consult Project partners and other stakeholders on the current practices, challenges and needs in respect of the coordination and oversight of law enforcement investigations of corruption and economic crimes.
The CoE experts met with representatives of General Prosecutor’s Office, Security Council, Government, Financial Police, Parliament, as well as independent legal experts.
As a result of the exchange of views, the Project will prepare a technical paper with recommendations for authorities on improving the legal, institutional and operational frameworks in the above mentioned field.
