Back Assistance provided to Kyrgyz authorities in developing the anti-corruption communication strategy

The SPCC-KY Project organised a Round table on 18 July 2018 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to present the findings and recommendations on the practices, challenges and way forward in the anti-corruption communication efforts of the country.
The Round Table was attended by representatives of the Security Council, General Prosecutor’s Office, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Justice, State Personnel Service, Financial Police, Anti-Corruption Service of the State Committee on National Security, State Committee on Information Technologies and Communication.
As a result of the round table discussions, the participants agreed on the proposed outline for the anti-corruption communication strategy, which includes strengthening the institutional capacity of government agencies and public councils to adequately communicate anti-corruption information; improving interagency cooperation and providing communication training to authorized press officers.
