This study session looks at the impacts of climate change through the gender lens of intersectionality. The young people participating will discuss and examine the effects of climate change through the lens of multiple discrimination and intersectionality and thus search for solutions that ensure inclusivity and the participation of vulnerable groups at local, national, regional, European and international levels.
The programme will connect with the work of the Council of Europe on Gender Equality and Climate Change, including the draft recommendation on youth and climate change, currently under preparation.
