involved in preparing and elivering the programme of study sessions at European Youth Centres

National youth policy reviews 
The reviews
The Directorate of Youth and Sport is currently running a project for the evaluation of national youth policies in some of the member States. On the basis of an extensive national evaluation report, and study visits in the countries concerned, an expert team drafts an international evaluation report which is presented to the Steering Committee for Intergovernmental Co-operation in the Youth Field (CDEJ) and the Minister responsible for youth issues at a public hearing.

Study sessions 
Study sessions reports (2003-2007)
Study sessions are international youth events lasting between 4 and 8 days which bring together members of youth organisations or networks and experts for discussions on a specific subject leading to conclusions relevant to the priorities and programmes of the Council of Europe Youth sector. They are organised in co-operation with youth organisations and networks, and are hosted by one of the European Youth Centres.

Training courses 
Training courses reports (1995-2007)
Training courses aim to develop competence and skills for European youth work. They cover a wide range of subjects, including working in international youth structures, international youth co-operation, youth training, conflict management, human rights education, European citizenship, youth participation and democratic citizenship. The training courses are residential seminars of between five and ten days, or long-term courses comprising two or more residential seminars and a practice period.
