On 24 November 2017 the “Strengthening the Capacity of the High School of Justice” Project organised a books donation to the library of the School. The event was attended by the Director of the School Mr Lasha Maghradze and the Head of the Council of Europe office in Tbilisi, Mr Cristian Urse.
The donation includes publications on a variety of topics of national and international law, European Convention on Human Rights, as well as on communication, leadership and other professional soft skills. In the words of the Director of the High School of Justice Mr Lasha Maghradze: “the list of books was compiled in a way to complement the process of development of new training modules within the framework of the Council of Europe project. Hence their addition to the library provides a supplementary source of up to date information for both trainers and trainees.”
The event is also covered by the High School of Justice on their website.
The “Strengthening the Capacity of the High School of Justice of Georgia” Project is funded by the voluntary contributions of Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Norway, the Slovak Republic and Sweden to support the implementation of the Council of Europe Action plan for Georgia 2016-2019.
