Danish architect and professor Jan Gehl has studied human behavior in cities for 40 years, in what he calls 'Life Between Buildings'. On streets and in public spaces, how do we interact, rest, communicate; what do we see? With his insights, we journey to cities around the world, examining the human need for intimacy and inclusion, and how we might better build cities for the people who live in them.The discussion following the screening will be hosted by Áron Halász, the vice-president of the Hungarian Cyclists' Club and the organiser of the annual I bike Budapest event. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
