On 8 November, the European Youth Centre Strasbourg welcomed a group of 32 participants from 29 countries of the 2024 Minorities Fellowship Programme to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
The participants were introduced to the Council of Europe's youth sector, its objectives, priorities, instruments and programmes. The presentation, which also focused on the European Youth Foundation as a financial instrument, was met with great interest and was followed by specific questions.
Discussions focused on the social inclusion of young people and the funding of projects supporting vulnerable groups of young people who are migrants or have a migrant background, Roma, from an ethnic minority background, homeless or LGBTQI.
