The first residential seminar of the long-term training course TRAYCE (Training of Trainers for Youth in the Council of Europe) took place 4-11 June in the European Youth Centre Budapest.
The group of 29 young trainers had been engaging with each-other online for three months before meeting in Budapest.
During the week, participants explored concepts related to non-formal education and training, took a closer look at the work of the Youth Department of the Council of Europe and reflected on human rights issues that concern young people in today’s Europe.
The course also served as a kick-off for a one year long process, where participants will carry out their own projects and continue engaging with online learning modules.
