The Marienthal Statement on Quality Youth Spaces is now available in Bulgarian, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Hungarian, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovenian and Ukrainian on our website.
The Marienthal Statement emerged from the 16th European Platform of Youth Centres, which was co-organised by the Council of Europe Youth Department and the Luxembourgish National Youth Service (SNJ) under the auspices of the Luxembourgish Presidency of the Committee of Ministers. The event took place on 6–7 May 2025.
Adopted by the Network of Quality Labelled Youth Centres, the Statement reaffirms the centres' commitment to the values of the Council of Europe and strengthens the network's commitment to promoting safe youth spaces that encourage participation and are backed by solid educational methods. The Statement also emphasises the network's commitment to acting as relevant hubs for democracy.
