The European Youth Centre Strasbourg was pleased to receive again this year the Fritt Ord youth competition laureates for a visit organised in co-operation with the Permanent Representation of Norway to the Council of Europe.

The Fritt Ord Prize is granted by the Fritt Ord Foundation, a private non-profit foundation that is intended to protect and promote freedom of expression, public debate, art and culture. 

The Fritt Ord Youth Competition for upper secondary school is an annual competition that invites pupils to submit entries about freedom of expression and democracy. This year laureates produced a video and a text contribution on the issue of social media addiction.
