End-of-term visit of Wannsee Forum in Berlin, Germany

 On 25-27 September 2024, the Quality Label’s team of experts visited Wannsee Forum in Berlin, Germany to evaluate the fulfilment of the 15 quality criterial of the Quality Label for Youth Centres, which the centre has been holding since 2019. This was the first end-of-term visit of the youth centres, originally set for 2021, but postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

 The visit provided an opportunity for the expert team to meet with the leadership and staff of the youth centre, in addition to key stakeholders in the German youth field.

 The team of experts was welcomed by Director, Roman Fröhlich who provided an overview of key developments that have taken place since the last visit. In addition to convening with the educational team of the centre, the expert team also met with key stakeholders, including representatives from the Depart of Youth in the city of Berlin and the Department of Youth Germany.

 Following the visit, the Quality Label expert team will propose a recommendation to the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ), that will make its final decision at the 73rd meeting on 21 October 2024, to prolong the label for Wannsee Forum.
