From 15 to 20 May 2023, the Youth Department, in cooperation with the Youth Peace Ambassadors Network (YPAN), is hosting a study session at the European Youth Centre Budapest titled "With Whom did you Make Peace Today? – Building Networks as a Tool of Developing a Sustainable Culture of Peace in Europe."

 The study session aims to empower 27 young peacebuilders representing 12 countries and enhance their role in European peacebuilding. The key objectives include discussing needs assessment and evaluation in peacebuilding, exchanging non-violent approaches, developing peacebuilding skills, fostering cooperation, and planning future activities.

During the study session, participants will explore the gap between peacebuilding theory and practice while creating quality criteria for YPAN projects. They will share innovative non-violent tools and reflect on achievements in peacebuilding over the past decade to apply them in their local communities.
