This week, the European Youth Centre Budapest is hosting the study session "Student voices amplified: navigating education, rights and advocacy", organised in co-operation with the Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations (FEMYSO). The event empowers a group of young European Muslim student activists to counter discrimination, especially in education.
Participants will explore, together with invited experts, how Islamic principles align with rights-based approach to advocacy and explore tools to challenge structural barriers within education. The study session also put a focus on mental health of student activists and participants will be supported on how to ensure personal wellbeing while taking part in activism.
