PROGRAMMES AND OBJECTIVES OF THE YOUTH SECTOR OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE FOR 2009

The Council of Europe has defined the following four programmes in the youth sector for 2009:

• Human rights education and intercultural dialogue
• Youth participation and democratic citizenship
• Social cohesion and inclusion of young people
• Youth policy development

Each programme is split up into different projects, with objectives for the period 2006 to 2008 for each project.
