Working conditions and precarity of young people in Europe

26 October – 1 November 2014

The study session “Youth working conditions and precariousness in Europe”, organised by the European Trade Union Conference (ETUC) in partnership with the Youth Department of the Council of Europe, will take place in the European Youth Centre Budapest between 26 October and 1 November 2014. The study session aims to identify the different working conditions European young people face throughout the European Union. The profile of participants will be young shop stewards and trade union activists from all over Europe who will have the opportunity to exchange experiences in the defence of the working conditions of young workers. In order to implement the learnings into concrete actions, a coordinated strategy at European and national level to call for better working conditions for young people in Europe will be built.
