As part of Armenia’s efforts to strengthen safeguards against Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs), a representative of the Ministry of Justice participated in the Council of Europe’s Training of Trainers on SLAPPs. The training focused on the characteristics of SLAPPs, European standards, safeguards against abusive litigation and relevant Council of Europe and European Union instruments.

The participation formed part of broader national efforts to align Armenia’s legal framework with Council of Europe standards and was accompanied by plans for follow-up initiatives with the support of a new Council of Europe project.
