Liechtenstein signs the Convention on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions (the Macolin Convention)

On 21 November 2019, Mr Daniel Risch, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure, Economic Affairs and Sport of Liechtenstein, formally signed the Council of Europe Convention on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions (CETS No. 215) at an official ceremony held in Strasbourg in the office of the Deputy Secretary General, Ms Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni.

Liechtenstein is the 32nd State Party to sign this Convention, in addition to the 6 countries which have already ratified it: Italy, Republic of Moldova, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland and Ukraine. The Macolin Convention (CETS No. 215) entered into force on 1 September 2019.
