KCOOS+ Seminar for European public authorities on manipulation of sports competitions

The Council of Europe (Sport Conventions Division) is organising a seminar targeting political actors and representatives of relevant Ministries in the fight against corruption in sport, in particular against the manipulation of sports competitions. The Paris seminar shall develop co-operation and coordination between the Council of Europe Member States regarding the ratification and implementation of the Macolin Convention (on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions), as well as strengthen the action of the network of public authorities as part of the Macolin Roadmap objectives.

 

The Paris seminar will mark the start of a new phase of activities fostered by the “Keep Crime Out of Sport – manipulation of sports competitions” (KCOOS+) project. This project will run until the end of 2020.
