Promotion of the European Sports Charter (ESC)
The promotion of the European Sports Charter (ESC) relies on actively disseminating its principles to public authorities, sports organisations and civil society. The Council of Europe encourages member states to incorporate the ESC into their national policies and to raise awareness among sports stakeholders of its core values: inclusion, integrity, sustainability, education and respect for human rights. Through training initiatives, strategic partnerships and communication campaigns, the ESC is becoming a key tool to make sport a space for inclusion, respect for human rights and participation for all.
