United Kingdom signs the Convention on safety, security and service in sport

On 15 April, Ambassador Christopher Yvon, Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom, formalised, before the Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Ms Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, the signature of the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events (CETS Nº 218).

The United Kingdom is the 31st State Party to sign this Convention, which entered into force on 1st November 2017.
