On 11 March 2022, the Deputy Secretary General received the instrument of ratification by the Slovak Republic of the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events (CETS Nº 218), also known as the Saint-Denis Convention.
The Slovak Republic is the 23rd State Party to ratify this Convention, which entered into force on 1 November 2017.
The Saint-Denis Convention shall enter into force in respect of Slovak Republic on 1 May 2022.
