A training workshop for Tunisian court clerks on the theme of "the protection of documents and archives: security measures and confidentiality" was held in Hammamet from 7 to 9 November 2022. It was organized by the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice of the Council of Europe (CEPEJ), in cooperation with the Tunisian Ministry of Justice. The basic principles, international standards and best practices in the field of protection of documents and archives, as well as procedures for protection and preservation of documents were discussed.

This activity took place within the framework of the joint program of the European Union and the Council of Europe "Improving the functioning, performance and access to justice in Tunisia" (AP-JUST) co-financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
