Retour Responsible Business Conduct in trade missions

In July 2018 the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy adopted a new procedure for the organisation of trade missions.

All enterprises that wish to indicate an interest in joining a specific trade mission are required to sign a statement on responsible business conduct, which refers to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the complaints procedure before the German NCP. It is aimed to increased awareness of business enterprises about possible adverse effects their operations might have on human rights and other issues.
