Supported by the European Parliament, the first local EYE event in 2024 took place on 18-20 April in Berlin. In that framework, the European Youth Foundation held an information session on funding and educational support for youth civil society organisations, in close collaboration with the German Federal Youth Council (DBJR) and the European Youth Parliament (EYP).

The session offered an opportunity for youth activists, representatives of youth NGOs to learn about the Council of Europe youth sector and its co-management system, and discuss the EYF grant programmes, criteria and processes. Participants exchanged on the EYF support and on how to get funding for youth NGOs initiatives as well as on successful and good quality projects.

The EYF will continue to provide funding to youth civil society organisations for their projects promoting democracy, access to rights, peaceful and inclusive societies and quality youth work.
