The EYF organised a presentation in Strasbourg (France), for 15 representatives of local and national French youth organisations, on 29 November - 1 December 2021. The session “Le secteur de la jeunesse du Conseil de l'Europe : Instruments de financement et outils pédagogiques” was organised in co-operation with the Educational and Training division of the CoE Youth Department and with the support of the French Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.

Participants learnt more about the youth sector of the Council of Europe, and then familiarised themselves with the application process for the European Youth Foundation's grants and with the training and education opportunities of the youth sector. Non-formal methodologies were used with a participant-centred approach and included simulation exercises on writing and assessing a pilot activity grant application. The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange on realities of youth work in France thanks to the contribution of Mr. Tristan REILLY, Deputy head of the "Bureau des politiques jeunesse" of the French Ministry of Youth.
