The Council of Europe’s Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) is holding an Educational Workshop on the European Sports Charter for the U-18 Ice Hockey National Team of Ukraine on 3-4 April in Budapest, Hungary. The Workshop is organised in collaboration with the Ukrainian Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Federation following a decision taken by the EPAS Governing Board at their 2023 annual plenary meeting. The Workshop aims at focusing on the Charter as a tool to promote equality and non-discrimination in sports and consists of two sections on understanding and combating hate speech and discrimination in sports and on the role of athletes as ambassadors for equality and respect.
