From 30 May to 1 June 2022, the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe and the French Ministry of Education and Youth, organised a training session on the funding instruments of the European Youth Foundation and on the educational tools of the Council of Europe’s youth sector for 18 representatives of 17 youth organisations from France.

The activity objectives were to:

• Train participants on EYF grant opportunities and eligibility conditions;
• Raise awareness about the Council of Europe’s educational tools in the field of youth work;
• Support the EYF in learning more about the context and needs of French youth organisations.

The participants acquired skills related to developing their project applications. Through interactive and peer learning, they also learnt more about the criteria of selection of applications.

During the 2 days and half, participants also visited the Council of Europe and learnt more about its work, and they explored specifically the youth sector’s tools, activities, educational and funding opportunities.

Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to network and exchange good practices.
