National and international political priorities in the sports sector (2010)
National and international political priorities in sport are contained in the document "Sports Development Strategy in Bosnia and Herzegovina". The Sports Development Strategy in Bosnia and Herzegovina enables all sports entities in BiH to adopt new approaches and methods in the organization of their activities. The strategy provides a projection of the strategic direction of the sport in BiH and supports the development of similar strategies and implementation plans at the entity, cantonal and municipal levels in order to fulfill a common mission and vision. The Bih Sports Development Strategy contributes to achieving the public interest and goals in the BiH sport, and regulates the key issues for the organization and functioning of the BiH sport . The strategy addresses key weaknesses in the existing system of sport and is expected to help the responsible entity and cantonal ministries, but also the entire sports community to achieve the necessary improvements in sport.

Organisation of sport in the country (2010)
Organization of sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina is defined by the BiH Sports Law. Sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina is organized in a decentralized manner with defined rights and responsibilities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the entities and the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other levels of the administrative organization. Sports issues, which are not regulated by the BiH Sports Law, are regulated in accordance with the constitutions of the entities and other levels of the administrative organization and their sports laws.
