National and international political priorities in the sports sector (2012)

Organisation of sport in the country (2012)
The Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sport defines and carries out the State sport policy, meet and improve the sport juridical frame, run the funds for sport and control their use by sports organisations.

The Albanian National Olympic Committee is legal entity and operates as a sports association in accordance with the Olympic Charter and its Statutes, approved by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport.
The State has the right to delegate the organisation and development of sport, national and international sports federations. They are financed with funds provided by the state budget in the form of grants, provided in the state budget and other legal sources.
