New cut-off date for Pilot Activities on 24 January 2022

If you are registered with the EYF as a local or national NGO, you can apply for the Pilot Activity grant, until 24 January 2022 (midnight, CET).

Pilot Activities are flexible in their format and may utilise a range of approaches, such as training sessions, meetings with experts, local workshops, local actions, visits, campaigns, workshops in schools, festivals etc.

An essential feature of a pilot activity is the educational element - the EYF supports education projects, using a non-formal approach.

Pilot activities should address challenges affecting young people at a local level, with a clear link to the EYF 2022 focus themes for pilot activities and the CoE Youth Sector priorities.

Find out more about what is a pilot activity on our dedicated page, What is a pilot activity?

Decisions of the Programming Committee on Youth on this round of applications are expected by April.

Please make sure that the start date of your project is at least 3 months after the cut-off date.

Youth organisations can submit applications only if they are registered with the EYF. The criteria for registration can be found here.

Please be aware that following a decision by the Programming Committee on Youth at its 46th meeting in December 2021, each organisation may have at maximum two granted pilot activities on the 2022 budget. Pilot activities granted in the context of the 2022 youth campaign are exempted.
