In 2017 the 6th Dosta!-Congress Prize will be awarded to three municipalities from Council of Europe member States that have implemented innovative initiatives to ensure the integration of Roma and Traveller communities, while respecting the diversity of these communities and ensuring their active participation in democratic life. The winners are chosen by an international high-level jury consisting of representatives of the Council of Europe, including the President of the Congress, Gudrun Mosler-Törnström, and the Congress Spokesperson on Roma Issues, John Warmisham. The call for applications is open until 28 June 2017. The first three municipalities will be invited to receive their respective prizes at the 33rd Session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe (18-20 October 2017, Strasbourg). The slogan 'Dosta!' means 'enough' in Romani dialect and calls for an end to the discrimination and exclusion of Roma and Travellers in Europe.
