The members of the Statutory Forum of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe are invited to participate in an urgent vote, on 6 July 2023, on the draft recommendation on the Congress budget for 2024-2025. A voting slot will be open from 9.00 to 12.00 CET on the KUDO vote only platform.

The text, which was approved by the Bureau at its meeting on 9 June 2023, sets out the Congress’ s budget for 2024-2025 and presents it proposal to strengthen the staff and the operational budget of the Congress taking into account the results of the 4th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe (Reykjavik, 16-17 May 2023).

Following its adoption, the recommendation will be transmitted to the Committee of the Ministers for their examination.

The Statutory Forum acts on behalf of the Congress between sessions and is convened upon decision by the Bureau of the Congress. The Statutory Forum comprises the Presidents of all national delegations and the members of the Bureau. The outgoing president, the chairs of committees and the presidents of political groups participate without voting rights.
